The PIRRO 1.0 LED recessed downlight from Wever & Ducré impresses with its compact, square design featuring a surrounding edge. The luminaire is available in matte black and matte white and is made of high-quality, matte-coated die-cast aluminum. The matte painted housing ensures a refined appearance and a durable surface. With dimensions of 5.6 x 5.6 x 4.3 cm (L x W x H) and an installation depth of only 8.5 cm, the downlight fits effortlessly into various ceiling materials with a thickness between 0.4 and 2.5 cm.

High-Quality LED Technology for Optimal Light

The PIRRO 1.0 downlight is equipped with a powerful COB LED module that delivers 4.3 watts at a constant current supply of 500mA. The light color is extra warm white at 2700 Kelvin, creating a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Especially noteworthy is the high color rendering index of over 90 Ra, which renders colors very naturally and vividly – ideal for object lighting and upscale general illumination. The luminous flux is 385 lumens with a luminous efficacy of 89 lumens per watt.

Practical Features and Easy Installation

The downlight is designed for ceiling installation and is mounted tool-free using spring clips included in the scope of delivery. The luminaire features direct light distribution with a beam angle of 32 degrees, directing the light specifically downwards. The visible part of the luminaire measures only 5.6 x 5.6 x 2 cm, ensuring a discreet and modern appearance. The luminaire weighs just 90 grams and is equipped with a plug connector for the external driver, which is not included.

Dimmability and Energy Efficiency

The power consumption of the PIRRO 1.0 is only 5 watts, resulting in a very low energy consumption of 5 kWh per 1000 hours. The LED module is not replaceable but is durable with an average lifespan of 50,000 hours, ensuring low maintenance. Dimmability depends on the chosen external driver, which is available separately. You can choose between switchable, phase-cut, or DALI dimming to customize the lighting individually.

Optimal Glare Control and Safety

The PIRRO 1.0 downlight meets high requirements for glare control with a UGR value below 16. This makes it especially suitable for workplaces with screen work and complies with the DIN EN 12464-1 standard. Protection class 3 ensures safe use, while IP20 protection guards against solid foreign objects. The matte painted reflector interior also provides uniform and pleasant light distribution without disturbing reflections.
